Performer One
From Medical School in Germany to walking for Balenciaga in Paris with Kanye West. From living in a Greek Ashram and cleaning horse poo to having Troye Sivan sitting in between her legs and making him hot for his latest music video. From sailing the Greek Sea and dancing and practicing Yoga in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and facilitating the Rising Women Retreats to being on stage for Namesplay in NYC.
From a life crying herself to sleep to a life that she has always dreamed of.
She left everything she knew and was taught to believe, shattering all the limits in her head, immersing herself in a path of the unknown, wonder, and miracles that keep surprising everyone around her, but especially herself.
Performer Two
Mati was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and immigrated to New York City with her mom when she was 7 years old. She quickly acclimated to American culture by learning English songs and attended LaGuardia Performing Arts High School as a vocal major. While learning classical opera in school, she taught herself Lalon geeti at home. Her passion for performing took her to Off Off Broadway and even Shilpokola Academy in her completed city of Dhaka. Mati has recently finished works all part of the South Asian narrative. She's very excited to perform with the Medusa Collective.
Performer Three
Rudrani is thrilled to make her New York acting debut in Names (Medusa Collective), bringing a tapestry of dance and acting experiences from Kolkata, India, and California. A dancer with over 25 years of dedication to both Indian classical dance forms—Odissi, Bharatnatyam, and Kathak—and Western styles such as ballet, jazz, and hip hop, Rudrani has performed in Kolkata (Pallavi Dance School) and Sacramento, California (Bhaskar Arts Academy), and has acted in a school production of the musical "Grease".
Her dual upbringing in Kolkata and California has influenced her approach to theater and performance, and has enriched her offstage roles as a photojournalist and policy researcher for The Next100, where she champions permanent housing solutions for asylum seekers. She is grateful for the support of her friends and to the entire Names team for the opportunity.
Director / Playwright
Nayum Faruki is an interdisciplinary artist based in NYC and Lahore Pakistan and the Executive Director of Medusa Collective NYC. Nayum works full time as a Consultant and Content Creator at an advertising agency, while also writing, producing and directing new work for the stage and screen.
Nayum graduated in spring 2023 from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.A in Theatre New Media.
Recent credits include (Producer) Star Lake at the Chain Theater Summer One Act Festival, (Producer) Clowntown at the Chain Theater Winter One Act Festival, (Producer/Director) Khilona at Alhamra Arts Council Lahore Pakistan and more! Nayum's extensive talents also include Sound Design, Graphic Design and Singing.
Producer
Isabella Fatigati is an Arts Administrator, Playwright, Photographer, Producer and Interdisciplinary Artist based in Manhattan. Isabella is passionate about artistic work that aims to uncover previously untold stories. Common themes in the work they produce or create is self discovery, healing from abuse and digital experimentation.
Isabella Fatigati is the Artistic Director of the Medusa Collective and the current Studio Assistant at New York City Center.

Stage Manager
Madeline Heeney (she/her) is a trans NYC based director, stage manager, playwright, and producer. She is a recent graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts with concentrations in Directing and Stage and Production Management. Madeline is ecstatic to be the Head of Development and a Resident Artist with Medusa Collective NYC.
Recent directing credits include Flower Power by Caitlin Mayernik, Clowntown by Isabella Fatigati, and an excerpt from Hir by Taylor Mac. When not in the city, Madeline is the Performing Arts Head at Harbor Camps, a sleepaway camp for trans and nonbinary youth!
Assistant Director
Han Bumanlag is honored to be a part of the Names Play team! Han is a theatre director, writer, and poet based in Brooklyn, NY. They are Filipinx-American femme from the San Francisco Bay Area and this past December, received their BA in Theatre Arts with a Concentration in Directing. In their work, Han seeks to protect and uplift of artists of color while leading and creating from a place of joy, tenderness, and vulnerability.
Assistant Producer
Keeley Heagerty (she/they) is an NYC based director, stage manager, dramaturg, and arts admin enthusiast. They received their BFA from Marymount Manhattan College. Keeley’s work center around femme-centered stories, and her missions are always centered around the resurgence of community. www.keeleyheagerty.com
Assistant Stage Manager
Deja Matthews is a freshman film and media major at Marymount Manhattan College. She has been in many productions as a performer but this is her first time working on the production team.
